Clothed In Righteousness: What are you wearing?

What are you wearing this season?

Seasons come and go. With each season, change is constant. Imagine wearing a comfortable clothing on a hot summer day ☀️  and the next day it’s winter ❄️. In the same way as seasons change, so does our spiritual outfit changes to adjust to the new season of our life.

Our outfit is an expression of our socioeconomics status, mental, physical, emotional state and spiritual well-being. Clothing is an external symbol of an internal spiritual change.

In the story of Joseph in Genesis 37, Jacob gave him a beautiful “robe of many colours”. This signified his birthright, importance in the family and revelation of the powerful future as a leader.

God is ever ready to change our stained/ filthy linen into a more glorious one. A new garment in Christ symbolizes the purity, salvation, sanctification, favour, power, new access and much more. Isaiah 61:10 says: “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”(NKJV)

What are you wearing this season? We have created an activation activity for kids and adults.
